Women Commandos Impressed Punjab CM with Elite Skills

In Lahore, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif lauded the Elite Force, a project initiated by Nawaz Sharif and Shahbaz Sharif, for its significant contribution to law enforcement. Addressing the passing out parade at the Elite Training Centre Baidian, she highlighted the rigorous training received by 17,000 police personnel so far.

Dressed in an Elite uniform, Maryam Nawaz observed the parade, where Hamza and Ayesha companies of Elite commandos showcased their skills with a general salute. The ceremony featured demonstrations of professional training, including specialized tasks like sit and heli repelling, building crossing, and street tactics.

A notable aspect was the participation of female commandos, who demonstrated exceptional abilities in various exercises, such as lizard crawl face down repelling and moving fire along a smoke screen. Maryam Nawaz praised their professionalism and personally inspected their training.

During the ceremony, prizes were distributed among commandos for outstanding performance, with Maryam Nawaz announcing additional cash prizes. She emphasized the elite status of those chosen to wear the uniform and commended the parents for their trust in allowing their daughters to serve the nation.

Expressing solidarity with the graduates, Maryam Nawaz highlighted the importance of their role in maintaining security, especially in the face of challenges at Punjab’s borders. She pledged full support for enhancing the capabilities of the police force and instructed the Inspector General of Police to procure the latest security equipment.
