FAISALABAD: Punjab Home Secretary Noor Ul Amin Mengal has ordered the allocation of barracks for beggars in jails throughout Punjab. He stated that the authorities will crack down on the beggar mafia and ensure that the law is enforced.
Mengal also instructed that guest rooms in Punjab jails be upgraded to international standards. He emphasized the need for air conditioning in meeting rooms during the summer. The Interior Secretary of Punjab directed that the Infrastructure Development Authority Punjab (IDAP) design these meeting rooms, ensuring they are equipped with all necessary facilities.
