Bahria Foundation and Lahore Garrison Institute of Special Education join hands to empower special education

In a move aimed at fostering inclusivity and community empowerment, the Bank of Punjab (BOP) has joined hands with the Lahore Garrison Institute for Special Education (LGISE). The partnership, sealed with a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), pledges support for the next three years.

Under this agreement, BOP will allocate funds annually to aid in the education and rehabilitation of special students at LGISE. The signing ceremony took place at the Lahore Garrison Education System (LGES) Secretariat, where key figures from both organizations were present, including Major Gen. Saeed Ahmad Nagra, Zafar Masud, Raza Bashir, Brig. Javed Shahid, and Zaib-un-Nisa.

Expressing gratitude for BOP’s support, Major Gen. Saeed Ahmad Nagra emphasized LGISE’s dedication to providing quality education to children with special needs. He underscored their mission to create an inclusive environment that empowers students to become independent contributors to society.

Zafar Masud, President & CEO of BOP, highlighted the bank’s commitment to community empowerment. He stated that the partnership with LGISE signifies a step beyond traditional banking, aiming to enhance accessibility to special education.

The collaboration between BOP and LGISE reflects a shared vision of breaking barriers and creating opportunities to ensure every child, irrespective of ability, receives the education they deserve.
