ISLAMABAD: Gold prices in Pakistan continued to slide on Friday after a slight decline the previous day, aligning with downward trends in the international market.
The All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA) reported that the price of 24-karat gold per tola dropped by Rs2,500, bringing it down to Rs284,700. Similarly, 10 grams of 24-karat gold saw a decrease of Rs2,144, settling at Rs244,084.
In the international market, gold prices fell by $25, reaching $2,752 per ounce, with an additional premium of $20. The price of silver in Pakistan also witnessed a sharp decline, with rates decreasing by Rs20 to Rs3,430 per tola, mirroring the recent fluctuations in gold prices.
