Renowned Pakistani singer Aima Baig has left the country for an indefinite period, sparking concern and speculation among her fans.
The singer took to Instagram to share the news through a series of stories, where she informed her followers about her departure.
In one of her posts, Baig wrote, “May Allah accept Umrah and keep it safe and secure. Dear Pakistan, I will miss my country very much.” She clarified that this trip is not like her usual ones, which typically last only a week or two, but rather for an extended period.
Baig expressed her mixed feelings about leaving Pakistan, stating that while she is not happy to go, she is confident that Allah will resolve everything. “Wish I wasn’t leaving this unhappy but I know Allah will fix everything – even the mental stress and state we go through every day,” she added, hinting at the personal challenges she has been facing.
The singer assured her fans that this move is not permanent. She emphasized that she is leaving the country for professional reasons and that it is a common practice for artists to travel for work. “Every artist has to go from one country to another,” she noted.
In a subsequent post, Baig humorously remarked that “even the clouds are crying” over her departure, reflecting her sadness about leaving Pakistan. Despite the emotional tone of her messages, Baig’s followers were relieved to learn that she is not moving out of the country permanently.
On the professional front, Aima Baig announced that her next original single is set to be released on August 18. This news comes as a consolation to her fans who are eagerly awaiting her new music.
