Punjab Expands ‘Maryam Ki Dastak’ to 11 More Districts

The Punjab government has expanded its “Maryam Ki Dastak” program to 11 additional districts, enabling residents in 22 districts to access over 60 government services from the comfort of their homes.

Launched by the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB), the program offers essential services such as obtaining marriage certificates, learner driving licenses, and e-stamping without requiring in-person visits to government offices.

Faisal Yousaf, Chairman of PITB, emphasized that the initiative aims to make government services more accessible and efficient, saving both time and costs for citizens. With its latest expansion, the program is poised to significantly improve public access to essential services, underscoring the government’s commitment to digital transformation and better service delivery across Punjab.
