The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has unveiled the national squad for the much-anticipated Men’s T20 World Cup 2024. Babar Azam will lead the 15-member squad, marking his third stint as captain with ambitions to secure the prestigious title.
The squad boasts a blend of seasoned campaigners and emerging talents. Key players include Mohammad Rizwan, Shaheen Afridi, Shadab Khan, and Naseem Shah, all pivotal to Pakistan’s recent triumphs. Notably, newcomer Saeem Ayub is set to make his T20 World Cup debut.
Completing the roster are Fakhar Zaman, Iftikhar Ahmed, Imad Wasim, Abrar Ahmed, Mohammad Amir, Abbas Afridi, and Haris Rauf. Usman Khan, Saim Ayub, and Azam Khan also feature in the squad, rounding out a team that balances experience with fresh prowess.
