Multan Firewood Prices Surge Amid Gas Shortage

Multan is grappling with significant gas shortages, leading to increased difficulties for residents as firewood and coal prices surge. 

Recent reports indicate that the price of firewood has jumped to Rs 1,400 per maund, up from Rs 1,200, marking a 20% increase. Similarly, coal prices have risen by 15%, placing additional financial strain on families already affected by the gas outages.

 Local residents are calling on the authorities to address the gas supply issues and intervene to reduce the rising costs of firewood and coal. As the situation develops, the community is hopeful for swift action from the local administration to alleviate their burdens.
