The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority has increased Liquid Petroleum Gas prices by Rs2.89 per kg, setting the new price at Rs254.19 per kg, in keeping with a general review by Ogra.
The official notice issued by Ogra highlighted the surge in price of a standard 11.8-kilogram cylinder of LPG, now up by Rs34.09, which has put the price of the domestic cylinder at Rs2,999.47 from an earlier Rs2,965.38.
This new pricing will impact consumers across the country, and many families will have to pay more for their monthly energy bill. The change reflects the constant fluctuations in the energy sector and the continuous efforts of the regulatory authority to keep prices stable.
