ISLAMABAD: In a move aimed at providing relief to consumers, the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has slashed the prices of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) household cylinders by Rs45.62, effective immediately.
The revised price sets the domestic cylinder at Rs2768, reflecting a significant reduction from the previous rate. This adjustment comes as welcome news for households across Pakistan, particularly amid ongoing economic challenges.
According to the notification issued by the ministry, the price of LPG has been fixed at Rs234.59 per kilogram for the month of June, offering further respite to consumers. In comparison, the domestic cylinder price stood at Rs2813.85 in May, highlighting a notable decrease in the current pricing structure.

The reduction in LPG prices extends beyond household cylinders, with a substantial decrease observed in per kilogram rates. From Rs250 to Rs180, consumers will benefit from a Rs70 reduction per kilogram, marking a considerable adjustment in pricing.
