Gold prices in Pakistan continued their downward trend over the weekend, with the price of 24-karat gold falling by Rs200 to Rs240,000 per tola. This marks the fourth consecutive day of decline in gold prices in the country.
According to dealers, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also decreased by Rs172, trading at Rs205,761. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 22-karat gold dropped to Rs188,615.
The decline in gold prices is attributed to the fluctuation in the value of the US Dollar, highlighting the interconnectedness of global economic factors and local gold markets.
In contrast, the price of 24-karat silver remained stable at Rs2,800. Internationally, gold prices also witnessed a decline of $5, reaching $2,333 per ounce.
