Gold Prices Hit New Highs! See Today’s Record Rates in Pakistan!

Karachi: Gold prices in Pakistan continued their upward trend on Thursday, setting a new record in the local market. The price of gold per tola (11.66 grams) surged by Rs700, bringing it to an all-time high of Rs277,900, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

Additionally, the price of 10-gram gold rose by Rs600, reaching Rs238,254. This follows a significant increase on Wednesday, when the gold price had jumped by Rs2,200, hitting a previous record of Rs277,200 per tola.

The rise in local gold prices mirrored the international market, where gold increased to $2,682 per ounce, with a $20 premium. The global price saw a $7 increase during the day.

While gold prices continued to climb, silver remained stable, with its price unchanged at Rs3,050 per tola.
