Karachi, Oct 30: After posting handsome gains, gold in Pakistan decreased today, by going in accordance with world trends. According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association, 24-carat gold per tola plunged Rs900 to stand at Rs283,400.
The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also declined to Rs771, which stood at Rs242,970. This reflects the general decline in the international market for gold, which declined by $9 and stands at $2,739 per ounce with a $20 premium.
The silver prices did not have any impact from the fluctuations in gold and remained unchanged at Rs3,350 per tola.
