Gold Price Drops by Rs1,900 per Tola in Pakistan

In alignment with the global trend, gold prices in Pakistan experienced a decline. The local market witnessed a decrease, with the gold price per tola settling at Rs248,500 following a single-day drop of Rs1,900.

According to data provided by the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the 10-gram gold recorded a sale at Rs213,048, marking a decrease of Rs1,630.

Contrary to this decline, the previous day had seen a notable increase in gold prices, with a surge of Rs2,300 per tola in Pakistan.

While internationally, the price of gold saw an uptick, reaching $2,418 per ounce (with a premium of $20), after experiencing a $21 decrease throughout the day, as reported by APGJSA.

Meanwhile, silver rates remained steady at Rs2,850 per tola during this period.

Notably, last month witnessed a peak in gold prices, hitting an all-time high of Rs252,200 per tola in the local market.
