Gold prices in Pakistan took a further dip, declining by Rs1,800 per tola on Friday, marking the fourth consecutive session of decrease, mirroring the international downtrend. In Pakistan, the price of gold per tola now stands at Rs240,200.
According to data provided by the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the 10-gram gold price fell to Rs205,933, down by Rs1,543.
Yesterday, the gold price per tola in Pakistan saw a decrease of Rs6,200.
Internationally, the price of gold continued to ease on Friday. APGJSA reported an international rate of $2,338 per ounce (with a $20 premium), dropping by $17 throughout the day.
In contrast, silver rates remained unchanged at Rs2,800 per tola.
Just last month, gold reached an all-time high of Rs252,200 per tola in the local market.
