Babar Azam’s Bat from T20 World Cup Final Now on Display

Former Pakistan cricket captain Babar Azam’s bat, used in the 2022 T20 World Cup final, has achieved a significant honor by being displayed in the prestigious long room of the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG).

This recognition places Babar Azam‘s bat alongside those of cricket legends such as Don Bradman, Jack Hobbs, Brian Lara, and David Boon.

MCG officials reached out to Babar to request the donation of Babar Azam’s bat, a gesture he proudly accepted.

Reflecting on the honor, Babar expressed his gratitude, saying, “It is an honor for me to have my bat in the long room here. I have many fond memories of the MCG. It is one of the best grounds, and it’s a privilege to see Babar Azam’s bat displayed with those of the world’s great batsmen.”
