In the wake of the tragic murder of prominent politician Baba Siddique, Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is taking extra precautions at his residence.
The police have ramped up security measures, prohibiting fans from taking selfies or recording videos outside his home, a privilege they previously enjoyed.
According to a report by Times of India, police constables have been deployed outside Khan’s residence, ensuring that both fans and media personnel adhere to the new restrictions. A CCTV camera has been installed to monitor activities in the vicinity, reflecting the heightened security concerns. Additionally, an escort vehicle has been assigned to accompany Khan, alongside a Special Reserve Police Force, providing Y-plus security.
Upon learning about Siddique’s untimely demise, Khan reportedly canceled all his meetings and requested fellow Bollywood celebrities to refrain from visiting him for the next few days. The actor’s decision underscores the impact of Siddique’s death on the film industry and his personal circle.
A number of celebrities, including Sanjay Dutt, Shilpa Shetty, and Raj Kundra, were seen arriving at Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai to pay their respects to Siddique’s family, demonstrating solidarity during this difficult time.
In a development related to the murder case, Mumbai police have arrested two of the three assailants involved in the attack. Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde confirmed that the two arrested individuals hail from Uttar Pradesh and Haryana, while the third suspect remains at large.
