After a continuous five-session decline, gold prices in Pakistan witnessed a notable upturn, climbing by Rs800 per tola on Monday, aligning with a significant surge in the global market. Currently, the price of gold per tola in Pakistan stands at Rs240,800.

According to data provided by the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 10 grams of gold soared to Rs206,447, marking an increase of Rs686.
Notably, on the preceding Saturday, the price of gold per tola experienced a decline of Rs200 within the Pakistani market.
The international gold rate experienced an upward trend on Monday, reaching $2,343 per ounce (with a $20 premium), reflecting a $10 increase over the course of the day, as reported by APGJSA.
In contrast, silver prices remained stable at Rs2,800 per tola.
It’s worth noting that last month, gold reached an unprecedented high of Rs252,200 per tola in the local market.
