In Pakistan, gold prices took a notable nosedive, marking the third consecutive decline, with a staggering drop of Rs6,200 per tola, mirroring the international downtrend. Presently, the local market reports a tola of gold priced at Rs242,000.
According to data provided by the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the 10-gram gold witnessed a reduction of Rs5,315, being traded at Rs207,476.
Yesterday’s figures depict a Rs300 decrease in gold prices per tola in Pakistan.
The global gold rate also experienced a decline on Thursday. APGJSA indicates that the international price settled at $2,355 per ounce, including a $20 premium, following a $60 drop throughout the day.
Meanwhile, silver prices saw a Rs50 decrease, reaching Rs2,800 per tola.
Notably, last month witnessed a peak in gold prices, soaring to an unprecedented Rs252,200 per tola in the local market.
